Samsung launches a new SSD that is "T7 Touch" at CES 2020 and gives us a surprising feature that is a fingerprint sensor. So you can easily lock and unlock your SSD with the help of your finger.
And as Samsung said that you can add up to 4 fingers for unlocking SSD T7 Touch that means you can share your T7 SSD with your family or friend or anyone whom you want to share.
And for the indicator, Samsung added a Motion LED light for the better indicator that shows what is happening with the drive, which means if you are reading from drive then the light shows and if you are writing then led indicator changes the light. So, there is an identifier Motion LED light that the user can easily identify the status.
Samsung T7 Touch is the next and advance version of Samsung T5 SSD.
Samsung T7 Touch comes with a solid aluminum chassis that can resist your SSD from drop up to six and a half feet. And for connectivity, it comes with a single Type-C port which means you can use T7 Touch as a USB-C to USB-C or USB-C to USB-A cable.
Read and write speed is more than 1000 MB/s. Its read speed is up to 1,050 MB/s and writes speed is up to 1,000 MB/s. That means it's approx. twice faster than its predecessor, the T5 and up to 9.5 times faster than external HDDs. This can reach the maximum speed when used with the NVMe interface.
T7 Touch is available in Black and Silver with three different storage capacity 500GB at a price of $129.99 and 1TB price $229.99 and for 2T it comes at the price of $399.99. And this T7 Touch SSD will give you a three-year limited warranty.
