Stable pixel experience plus custom ROM for Asus zenfone Max Pro M1

Pixel experience has released stable custom ROM pixel experience Plus it's for Asus zenfone Max Pro M1 on 11 may 2020. The new custom rom has a bunch of features. The user interface is quite smooth and lag free. You will get pixel like experience in your Asus zenfone Max Pro M1.

User interface

The user interface is just as same as the pixel phone. Even in 4GB of Ram of the phone the user interface is lag free. It is quite smooth. The RAM management in this version of ROM is quite awesome. Snapdragon 636 processor is quite fast it opens the application fastly. The animation on the phone is very smooth. It gets a very nice aesthetics. 

Battery life

Battery life has not been much improved. I get 7 to 8 hours of screen on time. Also it depends upon the usage for example if you are using the hotspot then the battery will drain faster and you will get less screen on time. Charging time is two and half hours approximately. During the charge the phone heats up approximately 41 degree centigrade. The normal temperature of the phone is around 36 degree centigrade. Also the upgraded version of adaptive battery feature has been introduced which is used to improve the battery life.

While charging the phone will show the charging sign inside the battery icon.

Speaker performance

The speaker volume is louder than the volume in stock even it is clear too. Also the ear speaker producing pleasant sound.

Camera

The custom rom comes with Google camera Go application. The performance of the camera is good. You can download the apk for Google camera. Make sure your phone is API level 3 enabled. Google camera go application has no nightsight mode.

You have to unlock bootloader first to install any custom rom in your phone

Unlocking bootloader will void the warranty of your phone.

Notification light

Deep Red light appears when charging.

After 90% charge it will turn green.

Also if you receive notification then green and red light blink alternately.

Features working

Every feature is working right now which Max Pro M1 hardware support.

There are not any features discovered which are not working right now.

All the known bugs has been removed in this stable version of custom ROM.

Fingerprint

Fingerprint is working normally. It is faster than stock ROM.

Boot animation

When you switch on the phone you will first show that your bootloader is unlocked after that a Google logo will appear like in pixel phone and your phone will be booted.

Booting time is less.

Ram management

The management of this custom ROM is very very awesome. Even in 4GB of RAM the apps open in background. It handles RAM very efficiently. The minimum amount of RAM it saves is around 450 MB.

Brightness

Full Brightness of screen has been increased.

Also the low level of brightness has been decreased.  

Network 

Network strength has been increased.

Lot of network option has been introduced in network menu.

All of the option which you can access by dialling *#*#4636#*#* in stock ROM you can directly access in your network menu in this custom ROM.

Features

All of the pixel phone feature and settings have been introduced.

If you open settings menu it will automatically suggest you the next action you should take. For example it will automatically tells you to turn on dark theme to save battery.

Wi-Fi has a new QR code option to directly connect by scanning. Also Wi-Fi and hotspot can be switch on simultaneously. There is two option in wifi 2.4 gigahertz and 5.0 gigahertz but the hardware only supports 2.4 gigahertz  band.

also there is a option of extended screenshot. After taking a screenshot there is a little option in the bottom corner appears to take long screenshot or edit or share it.

Permission

There is a new feature introduced to use the permission while only using the application at that time. This is a nice feature which is added.

Styles and wallpaper

You will get style menu in which you can customise the iPhone shape notification panel icon colour. Also you can change the font too.

Also you can make your custom theme.

Pixel wallpapers are provided. Also some live wallpapers are added.

Status bar and notification panel

The best part of a phone is to customise it's status bar and the notification panel.

Now you can customise your status bar and notification panel. you can show which I can you want to show on the status bar for example if you want to remove your earphone icon in status bar you can remove it. Or you want to show 4G instead of LTE. You can manually set clock position left or centre or right even you can add seconds to your clock along with minute and hour. You can change battery icon shape from battery to circle and if you want to show your battery percentage inside or outside. 

also you can customise your notification panel. There are a lot of any nation introduced phone the notification panel icon as well. They can now give a rotating animation. 

Extra features of pixel experience plus edition compared to pixel experience edition

-You can now take custom screenshot. You can take the screenshot of the area just where do you want. Just hold the screenshot button after pressing the power key and you will prompt to select the area you want to take a screenshot.

-now you can you give access to the location service while using the application only. When you switches to another application the app no longer can use the location service.

-some basic customisation has been added.

-screen recorder are working fine.

-caffeine mode is added.

-you can turn on the feature long press power key to use flashlight. It works when your screen is locked.
